Westgrove Partners specializes in acquiring and operating multifamily real estate with a value-add and core-plus investment strategy. Since inception Westgrove has owned and operated more than $250M in multifamily properties across the Western and Midwestern U.S.

Prior to forming Westgrove, its founders compiled an extensive track record of successfully executing multifamily real estate investment strategies collectively contributing to the acquisition and management of over 30,000 units with a total capitalization of $3.0B across public and private investment platforms.

Meet the team

 
 

Christian Meier

Managing Principal

Mr. Meier is Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Westgrove Partners. He is responsible for the firms investment strategy, including capital formation and its acquisitions.

Prior to forming Westgrove Partners, Mr. Meier was an early employee at Hightower, a leading real estate technology company. Mr. Meier was instrumental in the company’s rapid growth fostering key relationships with commercial real estate brokers, operators, and capital partners both domestically and internationally. In 2016 Hightower merged with VTS in a transaction valued at $300M.

Previously, Mr. Meier was a Senior Associate at Steadfast Companies. During his tenure at Steadfast they launched the Steadfast Income REIT and raised $745M in its first public offering. By 2015 the REIT acquired 17,000 multifamily units with a total capitalization of $1.65B.

Mr. Meier holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance and Management concentration from the University of Southern California. Mr Meier previously held Series 7 and 63 designations from FINRA, and is a member of ULI Young Leaders Organization.

 

Taylor Fijan

Managing Principal

Mr. Fijan is Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Westgrove Partners. He is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy, including property and company operations.

Mr. Fijan has more than 15 years of multifamily investment experience. Prior to forming Westgrove Partners, he held the title of Senior Vice President at Aragon Holdings where he was responsible for overseeing the company’s West Coast acquisitions and asset management. During his tenure, Mr. Fijan played a critical role in growing the company’s portfolio of assets from $30M to nearly $2B in seven years.

Mr. Fijan was individually responsible for sourcing and closing over $600M in multifamily investments in major markets across the Western, Midwestern and Southeastern United States. He was instrumental in the creation and implementation of the company’s operational processes and overall organizational strategy (fund structure, investment criteria, and investor relations). 

Mr. Fijan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Real Estate Finance concentration from the University of Southern California. 

 

Chase Eskel

Vice President

Mr. Eskel is a Vice President at Westgrove Partners which he joined in 2023 to lead the asset management division. In addition, he serves as an acquisition officer for the firm.

With a background spanning over 8 years in real estate investments, Mr. Eskel brings a wealth of experience to Westgrove Partners. Prior to joining Westgrove Partners, he was an integral member of the asset management group at BentallGreenOak (BGO), a globally recognized real estate investment manager. During his time at BGO, he successfully managed a $2.9B multifamily and industrial portfolio and oversaw the disposition of $800M of assets in BGO’s flagship core fund.

Before joining BentallGreenOak, Mr. Eskel spent 3 years at The Concord Group, a national real estate consulting firm. During this time, he provided advisory and consultation to a diverse range of clients on over 300 residential development projects across the the United States. Prior to joining The Concord Group, Mr. Eskel started his career as a Development Associate at St. Anton Capital, where he managed construction and entitlement processes on multifamily projects in Silicon Valley.

Mr. Eskel holds a Bachelor of Science in Regional Development with a minor in Business from the University of Arizona.
